Overview

This policy explains what information Run collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Run is a product of Modryn Studio LLC (Modryn Studio), a Wisconsin limited liability company. If you have any questions, write to support@run.trading.

Information you give us

  • Account details. When you sign in, we store your email address. If you use Google, we also store your name and profile image. Sign-in uses Google or a one-time code sent to your email. We do not store passwords.
  • Early access. If you request early access from our landing page, we store the email address you submit so we can contact you.
  • Trading data. When you upload your trade history or connect a broker, we store your fills, orders, account identifiers, and profit-and-loss figures. This is the record the product is built around. You can export it or ask us to delete it.
  • Broker connection. Connecting a live brokerage account is not yet enabled during the beta. When it is, we will store the access needed to read your account, and we will encrypt those credentials at rest. Live broker connection stays turned off until that protection is in place.

Information we collect automatically

  • Product usage. We record basic events, such as pages viewed and steps completed, to understand how Run is used and to improve it. This is first-party only. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics networks.
  • Account security. When you are signed in, we record your session, including your IP address and browser type, to keep your account secure.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

Cookies and similar storage

  • A first-party cookie named run_vid, kept for up to one year, that lets us recognise a returning visitor and connect your visits into one view.
  • A session cookie that keeps you signed in.
  • Per-tab browser storage used for a single visit.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use your information

  • To provide the product and build the record of your trading that it depends on.
  • To keep you signed in and to protect your account.
  • To send the emails you ask for, such as sign-in codes and early-access updates.
  • To understand how Run is used so we can improve it.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of providers to run the product. They process data on our behalf and only to provide their service to us.

  • Neon, our database provider, which stores the information described above.
  • Vercel, which hosts the website.
  • Google, for sign-in with Google and for email delivery through Google Workspace.
  • Anthropic, whose Claude models turn your trading figures into plain-language reflections. We send only the figures and messages needed for those features.
  • Tradovate, your broker, which we connect to in order to read your account once live connection is enabled.

Your choices and rights

You can export your trading records in a plain format. You can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@run.trading, and we will delete or de-identify the personal information associated with it, apart from records we are required to keep by law and copies held in backups until they expire on our normal schedule. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your information, and you can contact us to exercise them.

Data retention

We keep your trading history while your account is active, because the value of the record grows over time. When you ask us to delete it, we remove or de-identify it, and any remaining copies in backups expire on our normal schedule.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Run is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
